he just opened it 5 minutes ago and he hasn't stopped chasing it since the moment I turned it on I'm totally in love with this it is like ping Pong or golf ball size so it's perfect for the cat and the tail on it's only about 3 in and it is really neat and I'm glad he likes it

This toy is amazing... by far the best cat toy we have tried. It cycles through a variety of movement patterns -- my cat is completely enthralled, especially when the toy stays in one spot and vibrates and thumps the "tail". Rolling is a little noisy on hardwood floors, but that is to be expected from rubber and plastic. The toy navigates under furniture, emerging by itself, and transitions easily between rugs and bare floors. It is very easy to disassemble to clean out dust and recharge, and it will be easy to substitute different tails (including homemade ones) for variety. I have not been able to figure out the controls (two speeds and two modes)... as far as I can tell, it seems to have only two settings (one with a green light and one with red and green... no blue as described in the brochure) but that really is irrelevant.
